Julian Lewis is a partner and co-founder of Eaglebrook Capital. Formed in 2017 Eaglebrook was established on the heels of a successful exit from the commercial brokerage business. Julian was born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he excelled as a 3 sport athlete. Julian received his Bachelor's degree in Finance from the Gabelli School of Business at Roger Williams University. His initial post graduate experience was with one of the region's premier developers, The Wilder Companies. After earning his broker's license in 2011, Julian joined Associated Brokerage Group. At ABG he specialized in urban multifamily sales and commercial leasing. During his tenure he participated in over $200MM in transactions from 2013-2016. In his time with Eaglebrook, Julian has overseen the acquisition and permitting of 290+ units in the Greater Boston market. Julian holds both a Massachusetts Real Estate Brokers License and a Construction Supervisors License. An active member of both East Cambridge Business Association and Somerville Chamber of Commerce. Julian routinely volunteers with The East End House, working with children on developing a wide range of skills. Additionally, Julian sits on the Board of NamaStay Sober Inc - a 501(c) (3) Charity aiding those in recovery from addiction.
Antonia Shelzi is a partner and co-founder at Eaglebrook Capital. Antonia received degrees in both Economics and Management Finance from UMass Boston. A seasoned real estate developer and investor, Antonia has participated in the acquisition of over 125 commercial properties along the East Coast throughout her career. She holds an active Construction Supervisors License and has always taken a hands-on approach to her investments. A past President of Kiwanis Club of Somerville, Antonia has been an active member for 15 years, working on service projects year round in Somerville benefiting the children and seniors of the community. Antonia also served as VP of the Cambridge Lions club, a service organization which focuses on community betterment and public service initiatives. Antonia is an active member of the Somerville, Cambridge and Charles River Regional Chambers of Commerce. Antonia who is fluent in three languages, has always enjoyed the challenge of working in male dominated industries.
Maxwell Shortsleeve serves as the Director of Investments at Eaglebrook Capital. Maxwell grew up on Cape Cod, where he attended Bourne High School before attending Bentley University and majoring in Finance. While at Bentley University, Maxwell was a member of Bentley Investment Group, Bentley MicroFinance Group and Bentley Ski & Snowboard Club. In 2018 during his senior year at Bentley University, Maxwell began an internship with Eaglebrook. Following graduation in 2019, Maxwell joined the Eaglebrook full time and currently oversees financing and development operations for Eaglebrook. Prior to joining Eaglebrook, Maxwell worked in Structured Finance and Acquisitions for Boston Capital. In his free time Maxwell enjoys sailing, fishing, skiing and is an avid Patriots and Celtics fan.
